Now, ALL Habitat Seminole-Apopka homeowners can take – or re-take - our FOUNDATIONS WORKSHOPS. The classes were previously available only to our Future Homebuyers to help them become successful homeowners.

The FREE classes cover topics foundational to homeownership. They contain a wealth of knowledge for anyone interested in maintaining their home.
The presenters are experts in their field.

You can take one workshop or as many as you want! Just review the list, decide which session(s) you will attend and register for them at one time.

What: Learn all about the inner workings of a home and important things to take note of as a homeowner. • Locating the circuit breakers (Turning on and off). • Turning off and on all water valves (sinks and toilets). • Plumbing: Proper items to flush or put down the drain. How to use a plunger. How to install a toilet repair kit. • Rinsing the AC overflow with bleach or vinegar & water. • A/C Maintenance - changing your filter and clearing the condensation line.
